Description
A Fiat 500 tour of Rome starts the way a Roman holiday should: you climb into a small vintage car, the engine turns over and the city slides past the windows. You ride as a passenger, so the only job is to look around, and a guide travels with you.
The first stop is the Colosseum, where you have a few minutes to take in the view and settle into the car. Then the route climbs to Gianicolo Hill, one of the city's best viewpoints, with rooftops and domes spread out below. The last stop is the Fontana dell'Acqua Paola, a large Baroque fountain on the Janiculum with a wide marble facade, a peaceful place for photos before the car heads back to the meeting point.
- The Colosseum, Gianicolo Hill and the Fontana dell'Acqua Paola as the main stops
- Drive-by views of the Circus Maximus, Trastevere and Castel Sant'Angelo
- A guided tour and the photos taken during the session
If it rains, a booking for the convertible is moved to a closed-roof Fiat 500, so the ride goes on. Meals are not included. The tour suits couples and anyone who likes the idea of seeing Rome slowly and in style.
