Description

This Appian Way golf cart tour in Rome covers the Appian Way Regional Park in four hours, with the Catacombs, the Circus of Maxentius and the aqueducts, in a group of up to five.

This Appian Way golf cart tour rolls you along an ancient Roman road, the Via Appia Antica, with no long walks. With a licensed English-speaking guide, a small group of no more than five rides through the regional park for about four hours, past stretches of the original basalt paving.

Three stops have their entrance included: the Catacombs, where a local expert leads a visit of about an hour, then the Circus of Maxentius and, with it, the Villa of Capo di Bove. Elsewhere along the road the cart stops outside to see the Tomb of Cecilia Metella and the tombs near the fourth mile. The route then runs on through the Aqueducts Park, where the Roman arches stand in open green space.

  • Shared cart and licensed guide
  • All three entrance tickets

The tour runs in any weather, and the carts have protective covers for rain. Hotel pickup, food, drinks and tips are not included.
