Description
The idea behind this Rome city center e-bike tour is simple: link the best-known landmarks with the quieter corners in between, and use side streets chosen so that riding feels relaxed. A local guide sets the pace, and a well-kept Cannondale e-bike (or a regular premium bike) keeps the pedalling light.
In about four hours and 14 kilometres you cover a long stretch of the old centre. The route takes in the Colosseum and the Imperial Forums, then moves through Piazza Venezia to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. After that come Piazza del Popolo and the park of Villa Borghese, where a terrace opens a view over the city.
- Piazza Navona, built over the old Stadium of Domitian
- The Pantheon
- The Jewish ghetto, the Portico of Ottavia and the Theatre of Marcellus
- A panoramic look at the Roman Forum
The level is leisurely. Helmet, handlebar bag and a biodegradable bottle of water come with the bike. Children can join on a child seat, a tag-along or their own e-bike depending on age. If a public event closes part of the centre, the operator may swap a stop for another.
