Description
Interior and exterior of the Olympic Stadium in Rome.
Duration: 90 minutes
In the heart of Rome, the Foro Italico comes alive through an immersive route that combines sports, history and monumental architecture, offering a complete experience among iconic places and spaces normally inaccessible to the public.
The tour starts at the meeting point by the majestic Obelisk of the Foro Italico, the emblematic symbol of the entire complex and the first visual impact with great scenic power. From here, the tour continues along the evocative Viale del Foro Italico, known as the "street of propaganda," where mosaics, inscriptions, and architectural details tell the story of the aesthetics and language of Fascism in Italy, transforming every step into an open-air tale of art and ideology.
You then enter the monumental heart of the Foro Italico, passing through its most iconic spaces until you reach the spectacular Stadio dei Marmi, surrounded by 60 marble statues of athletes celebrating strength, discipline, and physical perfection. The route continues to the elegant Pietrangeli Stadium and the Central Stadium of the Foro Italico, famous for hosting the Internazionali BNL d'Italia, where the world's greatest tennis champions meet every year, bringing these spaces to life and filling them with sporting energy.
Here begins the most exciting part of the tour: you enter the exclusive interior of the stadium, passing through the evocative Tunnel of Glory to the museum area, where trophies, historical images, and stories allow you to relive the most iconic moments. We continue in the mixed zone, a symbolic place for meetings between athletes and the media, and in the official dressing rooms of AS Roma, SS Lazio and the Italian national soccer team, thus entering the most authentic heart of sports preparation.
The experience culminates on the edge of the field and in the Monte Mario Stand, with a privileged view of the arena that allows you to feel the full grandeur and excitement of the stadium. The tour ends in the bar & shop area, ideal for relaxing and taking home a tangible memory of this unique experience.
A complete and engaging journey that brings the great history of Italian sport to life through iconic places, authentic emotions, and a story that combines the past and the present in an extraordinary way.
Important note: The tour route may be subject to variations, limitations, or temporary changes depending on the events hosted inside the Foro Italico and the Olympic Stadium. In particular, during the period of the Internazionali BNL d'Italia, major sporting events, as well as during the summer concert season (especially in June), some areas may not be accessible or may be replaced by alternative routes. In any case, a complete and highly interesting experience will always be guaranteed, consistent with the organizational and security requirements of the facilities.
