Description
A pasta and tiramisu cooking class in Rome is a good way to spend a few hours with your hands in flour. It takes place in a restaurant that locals like, in a neighbourhood known for its food close to Vatican City, and a local chef guides you from the first mix to the finished tiramisu.
You learn to make handmade pasta from scratch and then a traditional tiramisu, using quality ingredients. Groups are kept limited, which means the chef has time to watch what your hands are doing. Wine, Prosecco, water and soft drinks keep flowing while you cook.
- Fresh pasta made from scratch
- Your own tiramisu
- Fine wine, Prosecco, soft drinks and water
- A seated meal of what you prepared
When the cooking is done, you sit at the table to eat the results, and you take the recipes home to repeat them in your own kitchen. Plan for two and a half to three hours. Substitutes are offered for allergies and food preferences, but the lesson always follows the traditional recipe with gluten, dairy and eggs, and cross-contamination cannot be ruled out in severe cases. The class is not suitable for vegans, people with gluten or lactose intolerance, or very young children. Hotel pickup is not included.
